After two hours they drew near his body and touched it,

apesqōpē w-khāhnē w-shark men kldūkh khnashw:

Bishops and priests and monks gathered from every place,

paghrēh da-khyā tlāth yāwmīn hwā meshtamash:

His pure body was ministered to for three days,

On servit son corps pur pendant trois jours,

w-khn b-bēyth sāhdē ḥparw lēh mʿarthā w-lēh bāh ḥbashw.

and then in the house of the martyrs they dug a cave for him, and shut him in it.
