Since it is the robe of Jesus, care for it, put it on and be covered by it,

Puisque c'est la robe de Jésus, prenez-en soin, revêtez-la et soyez-en couverts,

d-lā bārṣīn bēh gērāwhī d-b-īshā w-lēh zkhāw w-akhrāw.

so that the arrows of evil do not pierce it; and by it conquer and prevail.

ʾō ḥabībaī b-ḥūbēh d-avūn tāw etdamāw:

O my beloved, come, become like our father in his love,

w-tertkhōn w-lebkhōn mathlegāīth dakāw w-shapāw.

and let your mind and your heart be pure and clear as snow.

hūlaī ʿālēm klānāīth menkhōn ṭrāw:

Drive the world's vanities from you, all of them,

w-ḥashaī besrā arpāw wa-snāw w-regthā aslāw.

and let go and hate the passions of the flesh, and reject lust.

tāw ethgāwasw ba-ṣlōt avūn w-vāh l-bēīsh zkhāw:

Come, take refuge in our father's prayer, and by it put on victory,
